TP Northern Odisha
Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the
Government of Odisha, has launched "Accelerating the Digital
Journey," a month-long campaign to mark Digital India Diwas, reaffirming
its commitment to advancing digital transformation, strengthening operational
efficiency, and enhancing customer services across northern Odisha.
The initiative aims
to promote digital literacy, accelerate the adoption of technology-driven
services, and create a seamless digital experience for both consumers and
employees across TPNODL's licensed distribution areas.
The campaign was
inaugurated by TPNODL Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, in
the presence of the company's senior leadership, including Nilesh Potphode,
Chief – Operations Services; Siladity Sengupta, Chief Financial Officer; Pradeep
Kumar Mohanty, Chief – Projects; Rajib Kumar Nayak, Chief Engineer – Projects; Rajeev
Kumar Goel, Head – IT & OT; and other officials.
During the inaugural
session, CEO Tyagi outlined the company's strategic vision, emphasizing
TPNODL's commitment to building a future-ready, customer-centric power
distribution network. He noted that through targeted digital interventions, the
organization remains dedicated to delivering seamless, convenient and highly
efficient services to all consumers and stakeholders across its operational
footprint.
As part of the month-long initiative, TPNODL will conduct a series of structured employee awareness programmes, consumer engagement activities, and digital outreach campaigns to encourage greater adoption of its online service platforms. Consumers will be motivated to use digital channels for essential services such as electricity bill payments, new connection applications, service requests, and grievance redressal, enabling faster, more convenient, and hassle-free service delivery.
To further strengthen its digital ecosystem, the company will also organise specialised in-house knowledge-sharing sessions for employees and business associates. These sessions are aimed at enhancing digital capabilities, improving operational excellence, and ensuring the consistent delivery of efficient, technology-enabled, and customer-focused services across its distribution network.
