TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) is making a meaningful difference in rural communities through its impactful Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, with its Mobile Health Dispensaries emerging as a vital healthcare lifeline for thousands across northern Odisha. Over the past few years, these mobile medical units have provided free consultations, diagnostic services and medicines to more than 1.7 lakh people.

To strengthen healthcare access in underserved regions, TPNODL has deployed one fully equipped mobile ambulance in each of its five operational districts—Balasore, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj. Together, these units have organised over 1,300 health camps, reaching tribal, remote and rural populations where access to quality healthcare often remains limited.

Each mobile health unit is staffed by a qualified doctor, a pharmacist and an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), and is equipped with essential medical instruments and medicines. These teams conduct regular health check-ups, offer medical consultations and distribute medicines free of cost, ensuring that critical healthcare services reach the doorstep of those who need them most.

Beyond treatment, the initiative also focuses on preventive healthcare and awareness. The medical teams regularly visit panchayats to conduct screenings and educate local communities on health and hygiene. The camps are organised in close coordination with local sarpanchs, helping maximise outreach and community participation.

TPNODL's commitment to social development extends well beyond healthcare. The company has implemented a range of transformative programmes in education, women's empowerment and skill development. Through six Skill Development Centres across five districts, nearly 3,000 youth have been trained and placed in reputed multinational companies. TPNODL has also empowered women from Self-Help Groups through vocational training in tailoring, beauty care and other livelihood-oriented skills.

Its flagship 'Adhikar' programme, which raises awareness about government welfare schemes and citizen rights, has also received widespread appreciation across the region.
