TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare by organising a blood donation camp in Berhampur on Wednesday. The initiative was aimed at addressing the critical need for safe blood in healthcare facilities and supporting patients requiring urgent transfusions.

The camp was inaugurated by noted educationist and community leader Manju Garg, who lauded the initiative and encouraged greater public participation in voluntary blood donation drives.

Demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and a strong sense of social responsibility, TPSODL employees donated 43 units of blood during the camp. The initiative underscores the organisation's sustained efforts to contribute meaningfully to public health and social well-being.

Notably, this was the first blood donation camp organised by TPSODL in the Berhampur Circle during the current financial year. Employees participated wholeheartedly, reflecting the company's culture of compassion, civic engagement, and collective responsibility.

Speaking on the occasion, TPSODL Chief Executive Officer Amit Kumar Garg said, “Voluntary blood donation is a powerful way to contribute to society and save lives. It is truly encouraging to see such enthusiastic participation from our employees. At TPSODL, we remain committed to building a culture where community service becomes a shared responsibility.”

Through such initiatives, TPSODL continues to play an active role in building a healthier, more resilient community while fostering a spirit of service among its employees.
