At the Lineman Diwas celebration held at the TPCODL Corporate Office, the organisation paid heartfelt tribute to the courage and commitment of its field workforce. On the occasion, linemen were felicitated for their exemplary service and dedication to keeping the power flowing across Central Odisha.

Lineman Diwas was more than just a celebration; it was a recognition of the men who form the backbone of the power distribution network. Their work often goes unnoticed, yet their contribution touches every life that benefits from reliable electricity. Through storms, outages and emergencies, these linemen respond with professionalism, ensuring that communities remain connected and safe.

Speaking on the occasion, the honoured linemen shared their experiences and appreciation for the organisation’s support.

Niranjan Parida, who has spent years working in the field, highlighted the importance of safety in daily operations.

"Working on power lines demands constant alertness and discipline. What gives us confidence in the field is that TPCODL places safety above everything else. The company continuously reminds us that no work is more important than our safety. From safety drills to strict protocols, the emphasis on safety culture helps us perform our duties responsibly while protecting ourselves and our teammates."

For Sanyasi Behera, continuous skill development has been a defining part of his journey as a lineman.

Bijay Kumar Rout spoke about the strong support system that helps field teams perform their duties effectively.
