extended essential welfare services to more than 5 lakh pilgrims so far during the
annual festival in the holy city of Puri. In addition, the company has provided
comprehensive care and hospitality services to over 7,000 community members

To help ensure the
comfort, safety, and well-being of the lakhs of devotees visiting Puri from

civic authorities to enhance the festival experience while reinforcing the
state's enduring spiritual legacy.
Anchored in the
spirit of seva (selfless service),
the company set up a high-capacity base camp and a mega community kitchen near
the Jagannath Temple to serve the large influx of devotees. Volunteers assisted
with crowd management and distributed thousands of hot, hygienic meals every
day, along with breakfast packets, Maha Prasad, ORS, and safe drinking water.
In collaboration with the local administration, Vedanta Aluminium also
supported public safety and environmental sustainability by deploying essential
infrastructure, using biodegradable plates, and implementing efficient waste
management systems across its service areas.

classical Odissi dance performances, and a landmark sand art installation by
acclaimed artist Manas Kumar Sahoo at Puri Beach. Reflecting the spirit of the
celebrations in Puri, the company also organised Rath Yatra festivities at its
residential townships in Jharsuguda and Lanjigarh, where community
chariot-pulling ceremonies and community kitchen initiatives brought together thousands of employees, their
