Greenply Industries
Ltd has launched XPro, a new hybrid veneer range under its Woodcrest brand,
targeting rising demand for premium interiors and standardised wood finishes across
residential and large-scale housing projects.
The company said the
new range combines the natural warmth and character of wood with reproducible
designs, enabling homeowners, architects and interior designers to maintain a
consistent aesthetic across multiple surfaces and applications.
The launch comes amid
an estimated 8-13 per cent annual growth in India's home interiors market,
supported by the expansion of integrated townships, premium residential
communities and rising consumer spending on interior design.
Premium households
are estimated to allocate 10-20 per cent of their property value to interiors,
making materials such as veneers an increasingly important component of
residential design and finishing.
Greenply said
changing consumer preferences, particularly the growing inclination towards
understated luxury and natural materials, are reshaping demand for interior
products. Digital platforms have also expanded consumers' access to design
options, while increasing their preference for branded products offering
reliability, quality and durability.
The new XPro range
has been developed to address the requirements of both individual homeowners
and large housing projects, where maintaining a uniform appearance across
wardrobes, doors, furniture and wall panelling can be challenging.
"As the growth
of integrated townships and premium residential projects means designers need a
finish that stays consistent across every unit and every surface, XPro has been
developed for this customer, offering the richness of natural wood with the
consistency today's projects demand," Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing
Director of Greenply Industries Ltd, said.
He added that
homeowners were investing a larger share of their property value in interiors,
while increasingly relying on trusted brands for quality and longevity.
Positioned in the
mid-premium segment, XPro is designed for residential applications, including
wardrobes, furniture, doors, feature walls and wall panelling. The range also
caters to corporate interiors, including reception areas and workspaces.
Its repeatable
patterns are intended to help architects and interior designers translate a
unified design concept across different elements of a project without
compromising the natural-wood aesthetic.
With the launch,
Greenply aims to strengthen its Woodcrest portfolio by offering a solution that
combines design consistency with durability for contemporary interiors.
The company said the range would provide architects, designers and dealers with an additional option for delivering coordinated, wood-inspired finishes across projects of varying scales.
