Reinforcing its consumer-centric approach and digital push, TP Central
Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and
the Government of Odisha, felicitated 90 electricity consumers from Bhubaneswar
Circle-1 under its ‘Bill Pay and Win Scheme’ at a prize distribution ceremony
held in the city.
The awardees, selected through a lucky draw, represented BCDD-1, BCDD-2
and BED divisions of Bhubaneswar. They were presented with mobile phones and
other attractive prizes in recognition of their consistent and timely digital
bill payments.
The initiative is designed to promote regular bill settlement through
digital platforms, thereby improving convenience for consumers while enhancing
operational efficiency for the utility. By encouraging cashless transactions,
the scheme also aligns with TPCODL’s broader commitment to technology-driven
service delivery and sustainable business practices.
Speaking on the occasion, TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh said, “At TPCODL, our
consumers are at the heart of everything we do. Through the ‘Bill Pay and Win
Scheme’, we aim to encourage timely and digital bill payments while
strengthening engagement with our consumers. Consistent payment practices
support efficient operations and enable us to deliver reliable and quality
power supply across our service areas.”
The programme underscores the company’s focus on fostering responsible consumption behaviour while building stronger relationships with its consumer base. Such initiatives not only incentivise digital adoption but also contribute to streamlined billing processes, reduced operational costs and improved service reliability.
The ‘Bill Pay and Win Scheme’ stands as a testament to the TPCODL’s ongoing efforts to reward responsible payment practices while promoting digital empowerment across its service network.
