Vedanta Limited today
unveiled Vividh Verse, a
limited-edition collectible, premium bilingual magazine that brings together India’s
storytelling experience through unseen, unheard and carefully curated
narratives spanning culture, public policy, entrepreneurship, AI, sports,
grassroots India and more. Conceived as an exclusive storytelling collectible
available in both print and digital formats, the magazine aims to create a
reflective space for thoughtful conversations and curated storytelling in an
increasingly fast-paced digital era.
Designed as a
visually immersive publication, Vividh
Verse seeks to converge India’s many worlds and perspectives through
stories emerging from the country’s heartland, classrooms, factory floors,
start-ups and cultural corridors. The inaugural edition brings together voices
from artists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, innovators and changemakers shaping
modern India while capturing the nation’s timeless traditions and bold
aspirations.
In his foreword, Anil
Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Group, said, “Nation-building cannot be limited to
building huge infrastructure or creating billion-dollar businesses. It is
essentially about creating opportunities, nurturing industries, empowering
women, and ensuring that children receive the right nutrition and education.
Most importantly, it is about believing in India's potential and giving it a
platform. Vividh Verse is born out of
that very belief. A belief that stories have the power to change mindsets and
shape the future.”
“This magazine is dedicated to the millions of
Indians who, through their hard work, are steering the nation forward. In such
times of uncertainty and hope, what we need is not noise but clarity of
thought. This magazine is a step towards that clarity,” added Agarwal, whose
vision anchors the initiative.
The inaugural issue
features an eclectic mix of distinguished personalities and perspectives. Arjun
Ram Meghwal reflects on constitutional empowerment, saying, “My journey was not
the result of individual brilliance alone; it was made possible because the
Constitution of India levelled the playing field.” Renowned classical dancer
Sonal Mansingh speaks about India’s enduring civilisational ethos: “To preserve
the Indian civilisation is not merely to remember the past, but to live its
values consciously.”
Acclaimed actor
Pankaj Tripathi shares his perspective on authenticity in contemporary culture,
stating, “Likes nahin, life ke anubhav zaroori hain”. Olympic medallist Manu
Bhaker highlights the importance of perseverance and support in sports, saying,
“Achieving sporting excellence is a process, one that must be supported
regardless of hurdles.”
From the world of
enterprise, Rahul Garg, founder of startup-turned-unicorn Moglix, questions
industrial inertia with the remark: “Why should India’s factories operate like
it’s still the 1990s?” Meanwhile, from the sphere of music and cultural reinvention,
Flipperachi notes, “If people from another culture connect with your sound,
that’s the highest compliment,” while Lokesh Anand shares, “Young listeners are
hearing the shehnai beyond weddings for the first time… that makes me
incredibly happy.” DJ Outlaw adds, “The idea was to make something you feel
before you think.”
The magazine also explores rising digital trends, grassroots entrepreneurship, wellness traditions, food festivals and the transformative role of AI in education. Adding to its exclusivity, every edition of Vividh Verse will include a specially commissioned limited-edition framed artwork, positioning the publication as a collectible cultural object meant to be revisited and preserved.
Positioned at the intersection of culture, ideas and contemporary India, Vividh Verse will continue in future editions to feature diverse perspectives and changemakers whose journeys collectively reflect India’s evolving social and cultural landscape. Through this initiative, Vedanta aims to invite readers not just to read about India’s many worlds, but to own and preserve a piece of its evolving story.
