Dalmia Bharat Foundation supports district level school athletics meet in Cuttack

CUTTACK, NOVEMBER 10, 2025

Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd., extended its support to the District Level School Athletics Meet (U–14 & U–17 for Boys & Girls) 2025–26, held at Utkalmani Bidyapitha, Safa, Tangi, Choudwar, Cuttack.

The event, aimed at nurturing young sporting talent, reflects DBF’s commitment to promoting grassroots sports and holistic youth development. Mrs. Soudamini Das, District Physical Education Officer (DPEO), graced the occasion and lauded DBF for its valuable contribution to sports promotion at the district level.

The athletics meet saw enthusiastic participation from 356 students, 56 teachers, and 89 block officials across 14 blocks of Cuttack district, making it a vibrant celebration of sporting spirit and teamwork.

Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj Gupta, Unit Head, KCW, Dalmia Cement, said, “Dalmia Bharat remains committed to nurturing young talent while promoting inclusive growth in the regions we serve. We are delighted to support an initiative that encourages students to explore their potential through sports.”
