Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Ltd has reported a robust financial performance for the September quarter of FY27, with its consolidated net profit more than doubling to Rs 53.05 crore, driven by sustained revenue growth across its established brands and emerging business portfolio.

The company had registered a net profit of Rs 23.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations increased 11.17 per cent to Rs 2,265.61 crore during the July-September quarter, compared with Rs 2,037.90 crore in the year-ago period. The company said this marked its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth.

Total expenses rose 9.71 per cent to Rs 2,225 crore during the quarter under review, while total income, including other income, grew 11.48 per cent to Rs 2,295.42 crore.

The company's established Lifestyle Brands portfolio, comprising Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and Simon Carter, recorded revenue growth of 9.71 per cent to Rs 1,906 crore.

The emerging businesses portfolio, which includes American Eagle, sportswear brand Reebok and Van Heusen's innerwear business, delivered a stronger performance, registering 27 per cent growth during the quarter.

Highlighting the growing contribution of its emerging businesses, the company said the portfolio had crossed an annualised revenue run-rate of Rs 1,400 crore, contributing more than 16 per cent of its overall revenue in the first half of FY27.

"The Emerging Businesses portfolio sustained strong growth, supported by healthy performance across brands and channels, alongside consistent improvement in profitability," the company said in its earnings statement.

The retail business also maintained its growth momentum, registering its eighth consecutive quarter of healthy like-for-like (LTL) growth. LTL sales increased 5.3 per cent during the September quarter despite a shift in the festive calendar.

The company's presence in smaller towns continued to deliver encouraging results, with its network of more than 500 stores recording double-digit LTL growth for the sixth consecutive quarter.

Among other sales channels, e-commerce revenue expanded 12 per cent year-on-year, while the wholesale business posted an impressive 18 per cent growth, reflecting broad-based demand across distribution channels.

On the balance sheet front, the company's net debt stood at Rs 966 crore, lower than Rs 993 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, indicating a modest improvement in its debt position.
