Emphasising that ethical governance, transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of public trust and sustainable organisational growth, TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) has reiterated its commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and probity across its operations. The company concluded its observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 on November 2, reinforcing the importance of ethical conduct and responsible decision-making in fostering a transparent and accountable work culture.

Observed from October 26 to November 1 under the theme “Probity for Prosperity”, the week-long initiative was aimed at strengthening awareness of ethical governance, promoting transparency and accountability, and encouraging employees to uphold integrity in every aspect of their professional responsibilities.

The observance culminated in a concluding ceremony on November 2, which was attended by Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, CEO, TPNODL; Subhadip Raychaudhuri, Chief – Commercial and Business Excellence; Ramendra Banik, Head – HR, IR and Administration; Santosh Samantara, Head – Vigilance; Harish Kumar Panda, SE – Vigilance; along with other senior officials and employees of the company.

Addressing the employees, Tyagi underscored the need to make integrity and ethical conduct an intrinsic part of everyday decision-making and professional responsibilities. He emphasised that strict adherence to established procedures, transparency in operational processes and individual accountability were essential to strengthening organisational credibility and safeguarding public trust. He also highlighted the importance of fostering a work environment in which ethical values guide actions at every level of the organisation.

As part of the week-long observance, TPNODL organised a series of employee engagement and awareness initiatives to promote ethical practices, deepen vigilance awareness and encourage responsible decision-making. The activities were designed to sensitise employees to potential ethical risks, reinforce compliance with established procurement and administrative procedures, and strengthen accountability through appropriate mechanisms for reporting suspected irregularities. These initiatives also sought to encourage employees to remain vigilant and discharge their duties with fairness, impartiality and a strong sense of responsibility.

Reaffirming that vigilance extends beyond an annual observance, TPNODL recognises it as an integral pillar of effective corporate governance and sustainable organisational performance. The initiative further strengthened the company's resolve to institutionalise a culture of transparency, ethical conduct and accountability across all levels of its operations.

Through these sustained efforts, TPNODL remains committed to combining strong governance practices with its responsibility to deliver reliable, safe and consumer-centric electricity services across its operational districts of Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj. The company reiterated that a culture rooted in integrity and probity is essential not only for organisational excellence but also for building lasting confidence among consumers and other stakeholders.
