BHUBANESWAR, MARCH 25, 2026

The theme for Art of Giving 2026, ‘Share to Shine’, was unveiled on Wednesday by Achyuta Samanta, reinforcing the global movement’s enduring message of compassion, harmony, and collective happiness. The announcement marks a significant moment for the internationally recognized Art of Giving initiative, which continues to inspire millions to embrace the spirit of generosity as a way of life.

Announcing the theme ‘Share to Shine’, Dr. Samanta said the Art of Giving initiative, which he started in 2013, has now completed 13 years of inspiring people across the world to embrace the values of peace, happiness, friendship, and harmony. He noted that the movement has grown into a global phenomenon, with participants from different countries actively engaging in its activities every year.

Dr. Samanta said the theme is unveiled two months ahead of the Art of Giving Day, observed annually on May 17, to allow followers and well-wishers worldwide to prepare and participate meaningfully. Highlighting the significance of the KISS Humanitarian Award, he said it has given Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences a distinct global identity and strengthened its mission of service to humanity.

Elaborating on this year’s theme, he said, ‘Share to Shine’ reflects a simple yet powerful idea; when individuals share anything with others, whether knowledge, food, or kindness, it brings visible joy and inner satisfaction. “The happiness reflects on the face of the giver; it makes them shine,” he added.

Recalling his own journey, Dr Samanta said he has practiced the spirit of giving since childhood. “I have followed this path from my early days, and whatever I am today is because of that habit of sharing,” he said, urging people to adopt giving as a way of life.

The function was attended by the Vice Chancellor of KIIT University and KISS Prof Saranjit Singh, along with senior functionaries of KIIT, KISS and Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, underscoring the collective commitment of these institutions towards promoting humanitarian values globally.
