Centurion University of Technology and Management has achieved a remarkable milestone in the 2025 University Impact Rankings, securing the 10th position in India. This notable rise from its 18th place in 2024 demonstrates the University’s growing influence and commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a comprehensive approach that integrates education, innovation, and community engagement.
The University’s impressive performance in the rankings underscores its holistic approach to sustainability and inclusive development, reflecting its dedication to addressing some of the most pressing global challenges. Centurion University has excelled across several key SDGs, with top-tier national rankings that highlight its ongoing efforts to foster positive change in various sectors. The University ranked 4th in India for both SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), showing its dedication to alleviating poverty and promoting food security. It also secured the 5th position for SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), reflecting its contributions to fostering innovation and strengthening infrastructure in critical sectors. Centurion also ranked 6th for SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and SDG 15 (Life on Land), demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability, as well as 7th for SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), highlighting its efforts in promoting urban sustainability.
On a global scale, Centurion University’s performance is equally commendable. It ranked 58th in the world for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), reinforcing its global commitment to addressing hunger through research, practical solutions, and policy advocacy. This international recognition further solidifies the University’s position as a leader in sustainable development education.
Expressed her pride in the institution’s achievements, Centurion University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Supriya Pattanayak said, “This recognition reflects our mission to not just educate, but to empower and transform communities.
